  • Live Music Burlington: Our Summer 2026 Show Schedule

Summer is here, and our calendar is stacked. If you have been searching for live music Burlington has plenty to offer this season, and we plan to be at the centre of it. We are The Dirty Pioneers, a high-energy cover band based right here in the Hamilton and Burlington area. After years of playing patios, pubs, and festival stages, we can tell you this much: nothing beats a summer crowd singing along on a warm night.

Here is a look at where you can find us, plus a trip down memory lane to our very first Ribfest back in 2015.

Where to Catch Live Music Burlington and Beyond

Our summer 2026 run covers the whole region. Most shows are free to attend, so grab some friends and come early for a good spot.

  • July 17: B-Side Social, Hamilton, 9:00 PM
  • July 18: Sun Retreats Sherkston Shores, 8:00 PM
  • July 24: Jerseys Bar n Grill, Burlington, 9:30 PM
  • July 25: Coach & Lantern, Ancaster, 8:30 PM
  • July 31: The Dickens Pub, Burlington, 10:00 PM
  • August 1: Black Bull, Burlington, 8:00 PM
  • August 8: Cambridge Rib and Beer Fest, 3:30 PM
  • August 29: The Powerhouse, Stoney Creek, 10:00 PM
  • September 4: Canada’s Largest Ribfest, Spencer Smith Park, Burlington, 9:30 PM

That last date is the big one. Headlining Canada’s Largest Ribfest at Spencer Smith Park is a bucket list show for any local band. The waterfront, the food, the crowd of thousands, it all adds up to the best night of the summer.

Ribfest Memories: Live Music Burlington Style Since 2015

We have been playing ribfests since 2015, and we have the photos to prove it. Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing shots from a decade of festival stages on our Facebook and Instagram. You will see smaller stages, questionable haircuts, and a lot of happy, sauce-covered faces.

Those early festival sets taught us how to work a big outdoor crowd. A pub gig rewards tight musicianship. A festival rewards energy, pacing, and song choices that pull in everyone from kids to grandparents. Ten summers later, those lessons shape every set list we build.

Planning an Event? Let’s Talk

Here is something many people do not realize. Festival season is also booking season. Event planners, venue owners, and couples planning 2027 weddings often catch a band live before they hire one. In fact, several of our favourite private bookings started with someone walking up to the stage at a festival.

So if you are organizing a corporate party, wedding, or community event, come see us play first. Watch how we read a room. Then reach out through the booking page on our website, and we will build a set around your crowd. The Dirty Pioneers have played everything from intimate pub rooms to headline festival slots, and we bring the same energy to both.

See You Out There

Clip this schedule, follow us on socials for the throwback Ribfest photos, and come say hi at a show. For the best live music this Burlington summer can offer, we would love to see you in the crowd.
